JD(U) inks pact with BJP in TN

Kurinjipadi, Sangagiri, Vedachanthur, Vaalparai and Manamadurai Assembly seats have been allocated to JD(U).

The Janata Dal (United) will contest five seats in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the May 8 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

An agreement to this effect was signed between BJP State President CP Radhakrishnan and JD(U) State President K Rajasekaran in Chennai on Monday.

As per the poll accord, Kurinjipadi, Sangagiri, Vedachanthur, Vaalparai and Manamadurai Assembly seats had been allocated to the JD(U).
