Rejecting the Congress charge, JDS-BJP government in Karnataka on Tuesday said it had nothing to do with the media release of CDs regarding alleged revelations made by Adul Karim Telgi, key accused in the fake stamp paper scam, during a narco analysis test in Bangalore.

"The government too is baffled over the leakage of information and as to how the CDs reached TV channels and press," Home Minister MP Prakash told reporters after a high-level meeting with top officials of his department during which the issue came up for discussion.

The state government has already handed over all documents, including the CDs, to CBI, he said while hoping that the central agency would unravel the truth behind the CDs' release.

"Internal squabbles in a particular political party might have led to leak of," he said, but declined to name the political outfit.

Prakash also refused to join the issue with Telgi, who claimed that the CDs telecast by TV channels were "fabricated" and he had not dropped the names of any politicians during the narco analysis test conducted on him in Bangalore in December 2003.

"Let CBI complete its probe. I will not question its credibility," he said.
