Police sources disclosed that Delhi Police's Special Investigating Team (SIT) has begun search of her house at Candolim, eight kms from Panaji.

"Goa police crime branch team is also accompanying SIT in their operation," Deputy Inspector General of Police Ujwal Mishra said.

SIT wanted to recover the alleged forged documents that Ramani, currently in police custody, had furnished for procuring the licence for running a restaurant in South Delhi.

The sources disclosed that SIT is looking out for alleged fake ration card and other documents used by her to get the licence.

According to prosecution, a document dated December 10, 2002 recovered from the computer of Ramani showed that she had shifted all the household goods to Goa for which she needed to be taken to the state.
