Jessica case: Ramani allowed to visit S Africa

Justice Mittal, while granting Malini permission to travel abroad, directed her to surrender the passport of her parents.

Amidst opposition from the prosecution that the socialite was facing two criminal cases, the Delhi High Court on Wednesday granted permission to Malini Ramani, the key witness in the Jessica Lall murder case, to visit South Africa for a fashion show.

Vacation judge Justice Geeta Mittal, however, directed Malini to furnish to the court copy of the bail obtained by her in the alleged criminal case in 2000.

Justice Mittal, while granting Malini permission to travel abroad, directed her to surrender the passport of her parents besides furnishing a personal bond of Rs five lakhs.
