Jet Airways denies receiving ultimatum from pilots

Jet Airways on Sunday denied having received any ultimatum from pilots that an agitation would be launched if the airline fails to offer by August 20 a time-bound plan to clear arrears stated to about Rs 100 crore.

Jet Airways on Sunday denied having received any ultimatum from pilots that an agitation would be launched if the airline fails to offer by August 20 a time-bound plan to clear arrears stated to about Rs 100 crore.

In a statement, a Jet Airways spokesperson said the company follows a process of "open communication" with all its stake-holders and that in line with the same the airline is in continuous dialogue with all levels of employees, including the operating crew.

The spokesperson said the airline believed in this collaborative effort and works towards resolving all issues through this mechanism.

The airline at the same time said that in line with the process of open communication the management will be meeting the pilots on August 20 on "all matters".
