JMC inspector commits suicide

An inspector of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has allegedly committed suicide at his residence, police said on Friday. The body of Rajesh Gupta was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence in Bakshi Nagar area of the city this morning, police added.

The body of Rajesh Gupta was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence in Bakshi Nagar area of the city this morning, police added.

He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said adding that the reason behind his suicide was not yet known.

The police registered a case and initiated probe into the matter, according to the police sources.
