First it was Smt Vasundhara Raje Scindia, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.. then, a fortnight ago, it was Hollywood actor Ralph Fiennes, apna Sanjay Dutt and filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

And now on Sunday, it’s director Sudhir Mishra. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and his wife Sunita have been witnessing a surge of surprise visitors on the sets of their ambitious biggie, Jodhaa Akbar. On Sunday, Mishra paid a quick visit to the sets of the film, currently being filmed in Nitin Chandrakant Desai’s studio in Karjat.

It’s a known fact that the sets of Jodhaa Akbar sets are fiercely guarded, with strict instructions from Ashutosh to not allow any outsiders, uninvited and uncalled for visitors. But to no effect. The shooting, so far, has been going as per the schedule, without any hitches.

Sunita, who is also the executive producer of the movie, says, “Sudhir was just around the corner. So he dropped by. Ashu (Ashutosh) and Sudhir are colleagues. True, we don’t allow visitors, but Sudhir just happened to be at the studio and he came over.”

A Mughal biopic, Jodhaa Akbar toplines Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Sonu Sood.
