Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp has expressed his desire to play the character of Riddler, the puzzle hurling villain in the third installment of
Batman
.

Pirates of the Carribean
actor said that he found the character interesting and will not let go of a chance to play the quirky villain, reported Ace Showbiz. "If the opportunity came, I'd definitely juggle it. I always liked the Riddler," said the 46-year-old actor adding that he was a fan of Frank Gorshin, the actor who played the baddie in the 60s-era TV show.
"I always loved Frank Gorshin. Frank Gorshin was brilliant. I always thought he was a great actor," added Depp. The actor is known for playing a repertoire of eccentric characters, including his latest outing as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's
Alice in Wonderland
.
