The criminals used the victim's ATM card to take out Rs 14,000. They also took away some valuables. The sector 20 police have registered a case.

"Abhishek Kumar, who works with a news agency in Sector 2, was waiting for a cab at Rajnigandha crossing to go to Delhi on Friday night. He boarded a cab at 10 pm. After some time, the occupants whipped out firearms and held him hostage," said a police officer.

"They took him to Akshardham temple via Sarai Kale Khan and DND Flyway. They blindfolded him and used his ATM card to take out Rs 14,000. After looting some valuables, they dumped him at Trilokpuri," he said.
