JP was declared ‘HT Man of the Match’. After failure in his first match of the tournament, JP today appeared in the ground against Nagpur with the intention of demonstrating his best of batting. In presence of a huge gathering he scored his first century of the tournament.

Earlier, Nagpur won the toss and made a mistake of inviting Bilaspur to bat first on a batting-friendly wicket. However, Bilaspur’s opener Raza returned to the pavilion after just ten minutes with individual score of 11. The responsibility rested to one down JP, once again.

This time round he responsibly shouldered his responsibility by standing on the wicket for two and half hours that saw dazzling 129 runs innings including three sixes.

They claimed two wickets each.
