THE JOINT CSIR-UGC test for junior research fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for lectureship examination would be held on December 24.
Total 1734 candidates would be appearing for the exams locally. In the Capital, four exam centres have been designated for the exams.
They include Campion School Arera Colony where exam on Chemical Science and Earth Science would be held, Career College of Law and Career College Govindpura would have exams for Life Sciences while the Sri Sathya Sai College for Women, Kasturba Hospital Road, would have exams of mathematical sciences and physical sciences.
The admit cards have already been dispatched to the candidates, but in case they do not receive the cards by December 20 they can download the duplicate admit card from the CSIR exam website – or collect duplicate cards from the coordinator of the Bhopal centre Dr S Prakash Narayan (Scientist) at Regional Research Laboratory, Habibganj Naka, Bhopal.
The duplicate admit card would be issued on December 22 from 11.00 am to 4 pm and on December 23 from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. The candidate must bring two recent photographs and acknowledgement card/identity card/proof of residence/date of birth.
The duplicate admit card would also be issued on the day of exam at the respective venues from 8.30 am to 9.30 am. However, the candidates are suggested to collect the cards on December 22 or 23 to avoid last hour hassles.
