In a major realignment of forces on election-eve in Kerala, ruling Congress and DIC-K, led by K Karunakaran, on Thursday clinched a deal to go together in the coming assembly poll.

"We have reached an understanding. The details of the alliance will be worked out soon," CWC member in charge of Kerala affairs, Veerappa Moily said.
Moily said after discussions with DIC-K President K Muraleedharan and IUML leader PK Kunhalikutty who acted as mediator for the talks.
