Accused in former air hostess Geetika Sharma suicide case, Kanda, who is MLA from Sirsa, has been granted interim bail till October 4 by Delhi court to attend the Haryana assembly session beginning from today.

After reaching Sirsa, he first paid obeisance to Lord Shiva at his shoe camp office--from where he rose from a simple businessman to a millionaire in short duration of time, later he reached Tara Baba Memorial Trust-managed by his younger brother Gobind Kanda.

Talking to media persons, he thanked his supporters, who came to see him after more than a year, he got out from jail, said: "As it is known that I have got bail for attending Vidhan Sabha session, so my priority would be to identify the problems of his constituency and would raise the voice in assembly regarding it".

A spokesperson of Kanda said that his cavalcade was scheduled to leave for Chandigarh early at 7am, but now would start for assembly session after 9.30am from Sirsa.
