Though the name suggests that the shop, which also has a history that is about two centuries old, is famous for its dalbiji and other namkeens brought to life by the home-made combination of spices and the use of desi ghee, its sweet offerings are equally well-known. Order the Sem Ke Beej (you won't get them anywhere else), Aloo Ke Lachhe and Kaju Masala, apart from sweets like Imarti, Pateesa and Balushahi, which have disappeared from the rest of the city.
