Shiv Kapur returned a disappointing three-over 75 in the final round to drop four places and sign off tied 65th at the Austrian Open golf tournament in Atzenbrugg.

Kapur ended his campaign with a total of five-over 293 after stumbling to a couple of bogeys and a double bogey against just one birdie in the final round. On a rather disappointing day, Kapur dropped bogeys on the third and ninth holes to make the turn two-over.

The back-nine started well with a birdie on the 10th hole but a double bogey on the 15th pulled him back. Spaniard Jose Manuel Lara (64) clinched the title after beating England's David Lynn (68) in a playoff after both the golfers ended with identical totals of 17-under 271.
