Kargil MLA Qamar Ali appointed as advisor to Omar

Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed Kargil MLA Qamar Ali Akhoon as advisor to chief minister Omar Abdullah with the status of a cabinet minister. The order for Akhoon's appointment was issued on Monday evening, an official spokesman said.
