"I know there has been lot of movements in the circuit. It's quite exciting and I'm excited too. I'm hopeful of a good seat in 2007 and I hope my future is in Williams. Let's just wait and watch," he said.

The Indian who was discarded by Jordan, later rechristened Midland F1, after an average maiden season last year, however, refused to disclose the details.

"I can't exactly tell you now what I would be doing in 2007. Whether I'll be here or there. As of now, I'm concentrating on the job at hand," Karthikeyan said.

"I'm quite happy with my role (as second test driver) at Williams and I would get to do a lot of test driving in August-September-October and I would give it my best to impress the Williams authorities."

Williams, however, has already announced its line-up for the 2007 season with Alex Wurz and Nico Rosberg as the team's race drivers.

Karthikeyan also maintained he has been enriched with the Williams stint.

"I think I have learnt a lot despite not actually racing. I got to know a lot of technical things.
