The moderate faction of Hurriyat on Monday reiterated its stand for supporting tripartite dialogue between India, Pakistan and leadership in Kashmir for a lasting solution to the Kashmir issue.
The hurriyat met in Srinagar on Monday to discuss the future course of action on Track-II dialogue with New Delhi.
The executive committee headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also disccused the recent meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister's close aide Sartaj Aziz in New Delhi.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Mirwaiz Umar said: ``We reiterated our stand that we support dialogue at all levels and a conducive atmosphere has to be created to help in the resolution of the issue''.
``Kashmir is an internationally accepted dispute and we believe that process of engagement between the stake holders is important at all levels,'' he said.
The moderate Hurriyat has listed revocation of AFSPA, demilitarisation and release of political prisoners as preconditions for the dialogue.
