Jehtmalani and his team visited Shah at his residence in Rawalpora area of the city.

"I told the Committee that Kashmir issue cannot be resolved through bilateral talks between New Delhi and Srinagar and involvement of Pakistan in the dialogue process is inevitable," Shah told PTI after the meeting.

The team later met National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Convenor of JKLF (Realistic) Javid Ahmad Mir as part of their efforts to find a solution to Kashmir issue.

Jethmalani led team arrived here yesterday and have so far met chairmen of both factions of Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umer Farooq.

However, JKLF led by Mohammad Yasin Malik had decided not to meet the Committee claiming that it was aimed at sabotaging the ongoing struggle of Kashmiris.

The panel members who are on five-day tour of the state will try to work out a solution by meeting every stakeholder in the political sphere of Kashmir and cross sections of Kashmiri society.
