Kashmir students call on Governor

Haryana Governor A.R. Kidwai on Wednesday advised the students to move on with the changing world economy in the era of globalization by accepting the challenges of the global economy.

The Governor was addressing a group of 40 students of Degree College Baramulla (J and K) who called on him in Chandigarh on Wednesday under the leadership and guidance of Major Mahender Kumar of 23 Heavy Motor Regiment (Devil Regiment).

Major Kumar informed the Governor that this group is on an "Operation Sadbhavana Educational /Motivational Tour" to various Universities and Educational Institutions at Chandigarh, Dehradun, Lucknow and Delhi with a view to spreading the message of peace, love and communal harmony in the region.

The Governor said that all the States including Jammu and Kashmir have their common interests and economies and they can exchange their marketing and trade avenues with their important products for bringing prosperity in the country.
