"All university examinations scheduled to be held from January 1 to 5 next year have been postponed due to heavy snowfall," university spokesman Showkat Shafi said here on Tuesday.
However, examinations scheduled from January 6 would be conducted as per the dates already notified, he added.

Fresh dates for the postponed examinations would be notified soon, the spokesman said.

The Kashmir Valley has been cut off from the rest of the country with heavy snowing forcing closure of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and suspension of air traffic.
