Hollywood’s latest star couple, popstar Katy Perry and comedian Rusell Brand, are celebrating their recent engagement with a holiday in India and their first stop was none other than the world’s most romantic monument, the Taj Mahal.

The I Kissed A Girl singer posted a picture on micro-blogging site Twitter of herself with Brand, which showed them snuggling up in front of the Taj.

The couple are enjoying a holiday in the country which has seen recent visits by Hollywood celebs including actresses Lindsay Lohan and Goldie Hawn. Buzz is that American popstar Britney Spears and her children are also here to ring in the New Year in the Kerala backwaters. They will spend New Year’s Eve in a houseboat in Allapuzha.
