Keep off drugs, passion: Ramdev to youth

ON THE second day of the yoga camp at Lal Parade ground, Baba Ramdev exhorted youth to stay away from drugs and passion and instead return to prayers for the prosperity of the country.

Disapproving AIDS and sex education programmes, the Yoga Guru on Friday advised the young generation to use restrain, not condom. Propagating ‘sexual misconduct’ could not contain the AIDS, he said, adding, the disease could be only contained through practice of Yoga.

Prominent among those present at the camp included Chief Minister Shivraj Singh’s wife Sadhna, State BJP vice-president Anil Dave, BDA chairman Dhruv Narayan Singh, MP Minorities Commission chairman Mohammad Anwar, Rameshwar Sharma, Alok Sharma, Vishwas Sarang, Kailash Mishra, Vidhan Sabha principal secretary AK Pyasi and others.

Baba Ramdev emphasised the need of Yoga to lead a healthy and peaceful life at 3-EME Centre at Bairagarh on Friday. At a two-hour programme, he gave yoga training to Army personnel and their family members at the Centre. The programme started with patriotic songs.

Baba Ramdev said Yoga could help in relieving mention tension and other illnesses. One could see the positive results only in a few days, he said. He gave training of Anulom-Vilom, Pranayam and a few more asanas to the gathering.

He said, increasing number of suicide cases and mental illness were a cause of concern and Yoga could help in reducing such cases. Ramdev said he has cured many people suffering from complicated diseases through Yoga.
