A group of para-athletes from Kenya, who had moved into the 63.7 hectare campus on Sunday, today took a stroll around the well guarded premises to check out the facilities and came out quite impressed.

"We had read a lot about the facilities here and hence had our doubts. But now that we are here, things are totally different from what we had thought they would be," Ronald Melkizedek, a Kenyan official told PTI.

A para-athlete accompanying him said, "the best place is the dining area. The food is really good." The gigantic dining area can serve thousands in a day and offers all the world cuisines.

From 10 different kind of breads to cakes to lamb chops besides Indian delicacies, the dining area is literally a heaven for the foodies. Asked if they had checked out the training area yet, Melkizedek said, "No I have not. We are going there only but I am told by others it is good."
