Kenyans steal the show on Delhi roads

Francis Kibiwott of Kenya emerged the champion in the Hutch Delhi Half Marathon in New Delhi on Sunday.

The 28-year-old Kenyan took 60 minutes and 40 seconds to finish the 21.097 km race, which was earlier flagged off from the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Cuthbert Nyangso of Zimbabwe came second with a timing of 61:34.

Kibiwott's compatriot John Korir finished third with a timing of 62:28. Defending champion Philip Rugut of Kenya finished fourth.

In the women's section, Lineth Chepkirui of Kenya emerged champion clocking 69:43.
