A division bench of Justices A P Lavande and P B Vairale, would conduct the hearing.

The trial court at Bhandara had convicted 8 persons on September 24 last year for killing four members of Bhotmange family.

Three persons -- Mahipal Dhande, Dharampal Dhande and Purushottam Titarmare -- were acquitted for lack of evidence.

Capital punishment was awarded to Sakru Binjawar, Shatrughan Dhande, Vishwanath Dhande, Ramu Dhande, Jagdish Mandlekar, Prabhakar Mandlekar while Gopal Binjawar and Shishupal Dhande were awarded life imprisonment.

Under the law, death sentence has to be confirmed by the High Court.

The CBI has also filed an appeal seeking reversal of acquittal of the trio and death for Binjawar and Dhande.

The High Court has asked the CBI to prepare a detailed chart mentioning the role of each of the accused in the case along with details of charges framed against them and supporting evidences produced before the trial court.
