Khalsa Parishad opposes Ramajidas's appointment

Opposing the appointment of Ramajisdasji as successor to Vishvambhardas, Khalsa Parishad has demanded a "proper" appointment to the Akhada.

Opposing the appointment of Mahant Ramajisdasji as successor to Chatusamprayaday Akhada's Mahant Vishvambhardas, Avirakta Vaishanav Khalsa Parishad has demanded a "proper" appointment to the Akhada.

In its urgently called meeting here on Tuesday, a resolution was passed opposing the appointment of Ramajidasji, Khalsa parishad sources said. The parishad, in its meeting, decided to take away the portrait of Mahant Vishambhardas during the Shahi Snan at Nashik--slated for August 17, if proper appointment to the Akhada were not made.

The meeting also paid rich tributes to Ramchandradas Paramhans, president of Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas and Vishavambhardas and demanded appointment of a mahant to Chatusampraday Akhada to avoid dispute among sadhus.

Meanwhile, Digambar and Nirvani Akhadas have snapped ties with each other following the dispute.
