Special Judge, A K Verma on Thursday dismissed the interim bail plea of Dr Jeevan.

Jeevan, who is the younger brother of main accused Dr Amit, had requested the court to grant him an interim bail for 10 days to attend the marriage of his sister-in-law.

His counsel requested the court to grant him bail on humanitarian grounds.

CBI prosecutor, A K Singh opposed his move saying Jeevan had already jumped bail in few cases. He could further repeat it if granted bail, he said.

The court also heard the regular bail application of five other accused in the same case. Dr Serj Kobid, Dr K K Aggarwal, Linda (nurse), Jagdish and Manoj had filed a bail application in the court last month.

The judge, however, adjourned their hearing till November 25.
