In their complaint lodged with the police, the girls said that LB Chugh, an assistant manager at a KPO company in Udyog Vihar, had been harassing them for past many days. The company has sacked all four employees.

“We were sacked by the company when we brought the matter to its notice. The management not only sacked Chugh, but also terminated our services without giving any notice,” said one of the girls.

“He sent us a number of vulgar messages. His lawyer even asked us to settle the matter out of court,” she said. She claimed that Chugh had asked them to do a compromise to get promoted. The three girls joined the KPO on November 14.

Chugh has denied the charges. “The company has made me a scapegoat. The management asked me to sack these girls and I followed their instructions. I am ready to cooperate in the investigation,” he said.

The police said that they would take action after investigating the matter. “We have received the complaint from the girls. Probe is on,” said Abey Singh Rao, DCP, Gurgaon (west).
