Kranti Express operation days, route modified

THE NORTH Central Railway on Saturday modified the routes and days of operation of 2501/2502 Guwahati-New Delhi Purvottar Sampark Kranti Express. The train number 2501, leaving Guwahati on Tuesday and Saturday will now leave Guwahati on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from July 5.

THE NORTH Central Railway on Saturday modified the routes and days of operation of 2501/2502 Guwahati-New Delhi Purvottar Sampark Kranti Express.

The train number 2501, leaving Guwahati on Tuesday and Saturday will now leave Guwahati on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from July 5.

The train running via Malda Town-Jamalpur-Mugalsari will now run via Katihar-Barauni-Mugalsari from July 1.

The train no 2502 leaving New Delhi on Mondays and Thursdays will now leave on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from July 2 and follow the modified route.

Similarly, the train number 5632/5631 Guwahati-Jodhpur-Bikaner Express has been extended up to Badmer and will now halt at Loni and Sandari stations from July 1.

The train no. 5645/5646 Guwahati-Dadar-Guwahati Express, which runs between Guwahati and Dadar, will now operate between Guwahati and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from July 1.

Currency notes: Taking an exception to the distribution of soiled currency notes in the salary of Railway employees by the State Bank of India (SBI), NCR divisional railway manager (DRM) SK Chaudhari consulted the SBI additional general manager (AGM).

North Central Railway (NCR) vigilance department detected ten passengers travelling with irregular tickets on train no 2808 Samta Express between Gwalior-Jhansi section.

The officials realised a sum of Rs 6720 as fine from them.
