Poland's Robert Kubica is still hoping to return to Formula One, a year and a half on from a near-fatal rally accident, after getting back behind the wheel of a rally car in Italy.

The former Renault driver, now out of contract after missing all of last season following his crash in February last year and enduring repeated surgery, told Sky Italia that he had unfinished business.
"Being here is already a good step, but I would have preferred to be somewhere else," the 27-year-old said.
