Kullu villager booked for rape

A resident of Tipper village here allegedly raped a woman at Anni on Tuesday evening. The incident took place when the victim was on the way to her home from her Uncle's house. According to the police, the victim's husband lodged a police complaint against Bhoop Singh.

A resident of Tipper village here allegedly raped a woman at Anni on Tuesday evening. The incident took place when the victim was on the way to her home from her Uncle's house. According to the police, the victim's husband lodged a police complaint against Bhoop Singh. The accused also threatened the victim with dire consequences and asked her not to disclose the matter to anyone. The police have registered a case under Sections 341, 376 and 506 of the IPC.
