L&T consortium wins Rs 4.39 bn order

The order, from the National Hydroelectric Power Corp Ltd, is for a 520 MW project in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh.

Indian construction and engineering firm, Larsen & Toubro Ltd, said on Monday its consortium with Patel Engineering Ltd, had received a contract worth Rs 4.39 billion.

The order, from the National Hydroelectric Power Corp Ltd, is for a 520 MW project in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh.

Shares in Larsen were flat at Rs 2,132.50, while Patel fell nearly 2 per cent to Rs 416 in a slighly weak market.
