Yadav, who has been known to have played the role of king maker during the United Front days, today said that he favoured Congress President Sonia Gandhi to head the new Government.

"If she is not willing, then we (secular alliance) shall sit together and decide the leader," he said.

Asked if he would once again play the role of king maker, the former Bihar Chief Minister said in his witty style "I will play the role of queen maker".

To a question whether he would shun state politics and the become a minister at the Centre, he said "one day, I will take up the leadership at the Centre."

"But, right now, I am coming with an army (of MPs from Bihar). I will not accept ministership and want to remain free," he said.

On trends available from Gujarat, Yadav said the outcome only proved that one always has to pay for one's sins and BJP will also have to suffer for its "crimes" in Gujarat.
