Lalu'll reveal Mandal experiences

Perhaps following former PM V P Singh and NDA leader Jaswant Singh, Lalu Prasad Yadav said he wants to pen political memoirs.

Apparently taking a leaf from former Prime Minister V P Singh and NDA leader Jaswant Singh, Railways Minister Lalu Prasad today said he wants to pen facets of his political career.

"I will also write a book. It will deal with my experiences during the Mandal agitation... It was not easy; we survived lathi blows for that. There are so many things to be told," the Rashtriya Janta Dal leader said while addressing a conference of the All-India United Muslim Morcha and Dalit Christian Liberation Movement here.

"Saying something on the dais might hurt certain people... It is better to say it in a book," he added.
