Lalu's daughter to marry Haryana minister's son

RJD supremo Lalu Parsad Yadav's daughter Anushka will tie the knot with Chiranjeev Rao, son of Haryana power minister Ajay Singh Yadav on April 24.

RJD supremo Lalu Parsad Yadav's daughter Anushka will tie the knot with Chiranjeev Rao, son of Haryana power minister Ajay Singh Yadav on April 24.

A law graduate from Panjab University, 25-year-old Chiranjeev Rao currently holds the portfolio of state Youth Congress chief. Anushka, Lalu's sixth daughter, has done her graduation in interior designing from Amity University, Noida.

A close member of Rao’s family told HT that this is an arranged marriage and both families are very happy with the alliance.

According to family members the 'baarat' ceremony will head from Rewari district to Delhi and top political leaders from different parties are expected to attend the occasion.

The wedding would take place on April 24 in Lalu’s residence in New Delhi.

The lagan ceremony will be held at Rewari on April 18 after which Lalu Parsad Yadav.
