Security forces have detected and defused an anti-personnel mine near the international border in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir, a spokesman of Border Security Force said on Saturday.
A patrolling party of BSF troops detected the mine near regal border outpost in Samba sector on Friday evening, he said, adding the area was cordoned off and army authorities were informed about the landmine.

Later army experts defused the mine, the spokesman said.
