Lawyer-student rift regretted

To recall, there was clash between students and lawyers on Monday near Kutchery post office over alleged beating up of two lawyers by students.
Addressing the meeting, joint secretary (administration) of Allahabad High Court Bar Association (HCBA) Manoj Kumar Mishra, condemned the incident and urged lawyers to unite at this hour.

Joint secretary (library), Santosh Kumar Pandey, commenting on the scuffle which took place between the students and lawyers, said lawyers and students were like brothers and should forgive each other.

Treasurer of HCBA, Himanshu Singh, said that students should not forget that it is the lawyers only who fight whenever they notice injustice in any form.

Member of the Governing Council of HCBA, Ashish Dubey said lawyers and students were two sides of the same coin, therefore, there should be no conflict between them.Presiding over the meeting, vice-president Avanindra Kumar Mishra alias Vikas, said lawyers and students should work towards creating harmony. Conducting the meeting, joint secretary (press) Shashi Shekhar Tiwari, said the incident was the result of handiwork of some anti-social elements. One knows lawyers and students always fight against anarchy and corruption in the society.
