Talking to newsmen here, he said the "unity" reportedly achieved between senior Congress leaders K Karunakaran and AK Antony had not been acknowledged by the party's rank and file.
Achuthanandan said the UDF had violated the Election Commission directive, offering free meals to voters in Wadakkanchery assembly constituency, from where K Muraleedharan is contesting.
Comparing this to the sari distribution in Lucknow, which ended in a tragedy, he said the LDF would bring this to the notice of the Election Commission.
