The Left Democratic Front is likely to storm back to power in Kerala with 93 to 103 seats in the assembly polls, an opinion poll conducted for Hindu-IBN-CNN said.

Ruling United Democratic Front led by Congress is projected to finish 39-45 seats in the 140-strong assembly, down from its tally of 99 in the previous elections, said the opinion poll conducted by the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies.

If LDF gets 93 to 103 seats as estimated by the opinion poll, it will represent a significant increase from its tally of 49 secured in the 2001 assembly polls.
