1. The Chef’s Culinaire
Better known as Manju Monga’s Cookery Classes, a total of 27 types of cuisines are taught here. The school, which has been here for 12 years now, conducts classes in two shifts, in a day. The three hour long class is held six days a week (excluding Sunday). A cuisine is assigned for each day. The course on sizzlers and continental food is a hit here. You can also learn to cook Mexican delicacies and mocktails. So, if cooking Chinese sizzlers or frankies is on your mind, then this is the place to be.

2. Rano Suri’s Cooking Classes
Classes are conducted at this school all week long. The school that has been established for more than 25 years, teaches more than 25 courses that include Thai, Lebanese, South Indian, mocktails, cocktails, among others. The highlight of this school is the Tandoori barbeque cuisine that includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian tikkas. It is also known for desi desserts like kheer and gulab jamun. It also conducts special weekend classes for working women.

3. Aarti Aggarwal’s Cooking Classes
The highlight of these classes is the kid’s special course that teaches tiffin recipes. Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Lebanese, Thai, Continental and Mughlai are some of the cuisines taught here. Check out the Bombay Special course that includes Mumbai style chaat. For the ones interested in making desserts, there is a course on puddings and cakes too. The two hour long class is conducted in two slots — morning and evening, during the entire week.

5. Nita Mehta’s Cookery Classes
The classes conducted by Nita Mehta — author of many renowned cook books — have eight types of courses. With dishes including Lasagne, Tomato Bruchetta and Vegetable Risotto, this is the place for the ones who love Italian food. Courses on paneer dishes, party snack (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), cakes and cake decoration, salads, mocktails and day-to-day cooking are also conducted here. A ten percent discount on the author’s books is also offered during the classes. Each class is three-hour long and is conducted on all week days. The classes are held at five centres in the city.
