Choudhary resides at Asaravad Buzurg village of Sanver Assembly constituency in Indore tehsil. Minister of State for Forest and SC Welfare Prakash Sonkar in a written complaint submitted before District Election Officer and Divisional Commissioner Ashok Das on April 11, 2005, had said that Choudhary has committed an offence under Section 31 of MP Panchayati Raj Evam Swarajya Adhiniyam 1950. She and eight members of her family managed to introduce their names from three different localities in the voter list, he charged.

Sonkar alleged that the names of Choudhary family are present in the electoral roll at Asaravad Buzurg, Gokanya Pathshala in Mhow tehsil and Badi Gwaltoli, Indore city.

The district administration had asked Raoji Bazaar police to register a case against her. Last week, the police reverted the complaint to the Assistant Registration Officer and SDM P S Bagga stating that they have no provision to take penal action against her.
