The cricketing world may soon get a player impossible to run out - Usain Bolt. The world's fastest man may play in Australia's Twenty20 Big Bash League, with spin king Shane Warne leading the campaign to bring him to Australia.

The Jamaican, who won three gold medals at the London Olympics, said he had been contacted by Warne about joining him at the Melbourne Stars club in the league, which begins in December.

"He contacted me and asked me if I am serious. If I want to do it... he can get it done," Bolt, who favours batting, said.

"We will see if I get the time off. I will try. Twenty20, I love it."
