A leopard was killed when it was hit by a vehicle on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Thursday.
The animal was crossing the highway last night when it was hit by the vehicle at Ksala Morh in Chenani, 80 kms from Jammu, they said.

The CRPF Road Opening Party found the body of the leopard on the highway and gave it to the Wildlife officials, they said.
