A lesser-known militant organisation, Shohada Brigade, has claimed the responsibility for twin terror attacks in the Jammu region.
Speaking to some news agencies here, the organisation said the attack was being carried out by their local cadre. "We have full contact with militants and all these three militants are locals. So far our information suggests that 15 have been killed in twin attacks," Shams-Ul-Haq of Shohada Brigade said.
The organisation was in news recently for issuing threats ahead of the concert of famous music conductor Zubin Mehta.
In a joint statement, Al Nasireen, Shohada Brigade and Farzandan-e-Millat had asked people to stay away from the concert or face dire consequences. Police sources believe that the organisations surface as a front for Hizbul Mujahideen.
