LeT militant arrested, 2 kg explosive recovered in JK

A Lashker-e-Taiba militant was arrested on Wednesday and two kgs of explosive recovered from a hideout in Poonch district's Mandi area, 260-kms from here, army officials said.

A Lashker-e-Taiba militant was arrested on Wednesday and two kgs of explosive recovered from a hideout in Poonch district's Mandi area, 260-kms from here, army officials said.

The LeT cadre Abdul Alim was arrested and a cache of arms and ammunition, including two kgs of explosives, was recovered from the area near Berna forest, on the basis of his interrogation inputs, they said.

Police also recovered one revolver, two mobile phones, some SIM cards and other material, they said adding Alim was sent to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) for further interrogation.
