Rasul Rahmani, the owner of a tomato farm, has set up a plant next to his farm. His wife has died several years ago, and lives alone. Nobar Kordani is a girl who has to support her family.
She is selected, along with several other women, to work on the farm. When her mother and younger brother are arrested, Rasul goes out of his way to help her. The liaison they form greatly offends Rasul’s family. He must now look for a way to solve this crisis.

Director's bio-note:
Born in 1954, Bani-Etemad graduated in film direction from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and joined the Iranian television, beginning her career as a continuity girl and assistant director.
Later, she made a number of documentaries, then moved to features with Off the Limits (1989). This was followed by Canary Yellow, also made in the same year, Foreign Exchange (1990) and Nargess (1992).
