The Lakme India Fashion Week is one long party. With designers, models and socialites marking their attendance, the postevent parties are always looked forward to. Here's a sneak preview of all the excitement ahead.
The official launch party of the Lakme India Fashion Week hosted by the FDCI on April 20 is likely to be held at Decibel, Hotel Samrat. As for the finale party, hosted by Lakme, the ven ue will be the Olive Bar & Kitchen. Individual parties hosted by associated sponsors such as Liberty, Samsung and DHL are yet to be finalised.
The second day of the fashion week, Thursday, April 21, shall see Ramona and Yanchee Vadera's party to launch Opera, their `fine dining wine and music' joint. "All our friends from Delhi, Mumbai and overseas will be there," says Yanchee. A lineup of industry bigwigs and socialites are likely to be among the guests.
The next big one will be business honcho Gautam Singhania's `BE: party' at Athena. Billed as the `papa of all parties,' the headcount could touch a thousand here.
Among the other big bashes, Kimaya owner Pradeep Hirani will host one at Athena. "I am getting my bagful of Bollywood people. After all it is Bollywood that bedazzles every party animal."

This year Manish Arora plans to invite his friends at Elevate we hear, while Malini Ramani plans a do at her farmhouse. Tarun Tahiliani, known for his wild raves that last till the wee hours and Rohit Bal's crazy dos shall also be seen. For more venue and dates, watch this space.
