A brother-sister duo was killed in Greater Noida when lightning struck them on Sunday evening. They were identified as Ankit (18) and Pinki (24).

The incident took place in village Tilapta in Surajpur Kotwali area. The tragedy happened when the two went rushing to the courtyard to collect their clothes drying there amid the thunderstorm, police said.

They succumbed to their injuries while being taken to a nearby hospital.
