This soccer World Cup, there’s as much action off the field as on it. Every goal scored, every goal saved, and sometimes even a successful pass seems a good enough reason for fans on the sidelines to lock lips.
So much so, that the kissing spree has become a hot topic of discussion online. “Fans kiss every time a goal is scored... not much kissing going on among England supporters,” tweeted Spainrules05. “I’m not into soccer, but such PDA (public display of affection) is as good a reason as any to attend the world cup,” posts Rishabh. “French kissing is the new Mexican wave,” writes Priya Sharma on Facebook.
On-field kissing is making news, too. “(Argentinian coach) Diego Maradona is kissing the players on their lips... am I missing something?” tweeted bryanxt.
